Progresif Affirms Security and Customer Data Remains Safe, Systems Uncompromised Amidst Scam Attempts

Progresif Sdn Bhd, today issued a statement addressing the recent surge in fraudulent activities targeting its valued customers. The company has observed a rise in social engineering scams, particularly through phishing attempts where scammers impersonate as Progresif agents, aiming to gain unauthorized access to customers’ Progresif CARE+ accounts.

In these few instances, scammers have been reaching out to customers via Calls and WhatsApp calls, requesting sensitive information such as log-in details or One-Time Passwords (OTPs). Subsequently, unauthorized transactions have been attempted on customers’ accounts. Progresif urges customers to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions against such scams.

Progresif assures customers that it will never ask for log-in details or OTPs over the phone or any other communication channel. Customers are advised never to reveal passwords, OTPs or personal details to anyone and are encouraged to contact Progresif official customer service channels if they have any concerns or suspicions regarding the legitimacy of a call.
